FAQ

These are some common questions that always come up right before closing, that we would like to let you know in advance to make your closing easier.

• Closings are set by your sales person, however we do try to accommodate your schedule as best as we can. Please discuss alternative dates and times with your sales person. Be aware that Friday's and the last day of any month are always busy. Please plan for an hour and a half for your closing.

• Funds you are required to bring to your closing must be in the form of a cashiers check or a Federal funds wire transfer. The Cashier's Check needs to be payable to Empire Title Company, Ltd.

• If you are married, even if your spouse is not on the loan, your spouse will need to be with you at your closing appointment.
  

• You will need to bring with you proof of identity (driver's license, passport, state issued identification) and your Social Security Card.
  
  
• Empire Title has a $500.00 limit for personal checks at closing. Please be prepared to get a Cashier's Check from your bank or contact us for wiring instructions to have your bank wire funds for the amount that will be required at the time of closing.
